Boomerang Huts Project 2015

This was a collaborative project initiated by Far West Elders & Youth and the Manager of Coodlie Park whilst at a Nhangga Elders & Youth Mentoring Camp in April 2015 held by The Aged Rights Advocacy Service.

After the camp Elders from Port Lincoln & Ceduna whom attended the camp approached the Far West Languages Centre in Ceduna to support the project with the written Indigenous language words of Animals to be put on the boomerangs.

The Boomerangs were then erected on the Coodlie Park Huts with Ceduna Youth Hub at a follow up camp later on in the year, October 2015.

Partners Involved: Far West Languages Centre, Ceduna Youth Hub, Far West Elders, Coodlie Park Owners, Aged Rights Advocacy Service and Artists at Arts Ceduna.
