The Indigenous Languages and Arts program are major financial contributors of Far West Languages Centre, and support Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander communities to revive, restore and maintain their Aboriginal languages of Australia.

Far West Languages Centre has been working with the Adelaide University - Mobile Language Team since 2005 and continues to engage them for their Linguistic Expertise. Working closely with language experts and linguists from the University under direction and consultation from the local community, the Far West Languages Centre has produced a range of language resources, books and recordings of the local languages in and around Ceduna.

MIROMAA aBORIGINAL lANGUAGE & tECHNOLOGY cENTRE

The Far West Languages Centre at times partners with other Language Centre's such as Miromaa Aboriginal Language & Technology Centre located in Newcastle, NSW which have assisted Far West Languages Centre with Software & Training that can store our valuable languages, images, audio recordings and more.

Miromaa has also assisted Far West Languages Centre with training in media equipment & mapping via google maps and more. They also established the National Puliima Language Conference which is held every two years in various locations around Australia bringing those who work with languages together to share skills and knowledge of what they are doing with their languages.
